At what horsepower level in a 93 240sx automatic will I lose all footing when I step on the gas causing me just to spin my back tires at takeoff and go nowhere. The automatic transmission really soaks up those RPM and really makes the 240SX sluggish. You’ll need nearly 200 hp to drift fruitfully. 240SX motors were originally Pick Up truck motors reliable honest low end torque but not much of that power ever makes it to the wheels. Once you get the power up in the motor the auto trans will suffer. Excellent Luck SR-20DET motor manual trans and ECM and J spec wiring harness upgrade in your future or a V-8 LS1 ?
