How do I turn off the LED flashing light on my AT&T Tilt?

I just bought the AT&T HTC Tilt today, and I have found that the only problem with it is small, yet extremely annoying. The LED lights at the top keep incessantly flashing. This won’t stop, and I can’t for the life of me find out how to stop it. There are multiple flashing lights, one is blue that is intermittant, and the other is green and it flickers constantly. I need someone who can help me fix this without having to download “tweak” software. Is there a way to control the LED lights?

Notable features are the great keyboard and slide-and-tilt screen, also the onboard GPS. Orange provide free sat-nav software but it’s constantly downloading maps as you move so might end up being expensive to use. I’m going to buy some kind of sat-nav software with all the maps on the memory card (it takes microSD).
