Depends on your upgrade status with tmobile. If you have a partial discount you can order online on mytmobile.com right now and get $ 100 discount if you pre-order for $ 299.99 plus upgrade fee and sales tax may run you around $ 330 to $ 340 at a partial discount but you will get your phone by November if you order now. You had to have preordered this phone by 5:30 pm on Oct. 3 to get it by the release date on Oct. 22nd. If you dont pre-order it will be available in stores that are already on 3G network on Oct. 22nd. If you do not live in a 3G network area, unfortunately you cant get this phone in anticipation of the 3G network is avail in your area. The reason we are doing this is because if youre living in an area thats not 3G yet, then whats the point of you getting the G1 and cant use it to its fullest potential? Makes sense right?
If you have a full discount you can get his phone as low as $ 179.99 plus upgrade fee and sales tax could bring you around $ 200. Also keep in mind you MUST choose a data plot to use this phone, unless you want a a waste of time expensive paper weight. You can choose from $ 25 for unlimited Data and 400 messages or $ 35 for unlimited data and unlimited messaging. Before ordering this phone you may want to check the Tmobile coverage map to see if you are in a 3G network area. If you’re not in a 3G area, Tmobile stores will have working Demo phones to show you how quick this phone can really work.

I conducted a week-long test on my new 2300 mAh extended battery bought on eBay. After medium use of browser, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and phone calls (possibly 12 hours total), I am pleased to report that the G1′s low battery life with the OEM battery (that comes with the phone) has been resolved! With just three hours left to three full days, I had 7% remaining power. Three days is far better than the 12 to 15 hours use I might be lucky to get with the OEM battery. Best part is that the battery and take in cost total (shipping included) on eBay! I provide the link to the seller on eBay, in the video. But in case that does not show up, it’s eBay seller meig2006 I was a bit alert of export a battery from a Chinese seller (lots of low quality batteries coming from Plates, as you know), but this seller had fantastic feedbacks from people who had bought this exact setup. Besides, at it was worth the gamble. As a bonus in the video I conduct weight comparisons on a postal extent of the phone with the OEM and extended batteries. Here is the link to the eBay seller I mention: tinyurl.com Also see for all things HTC: htcpedia.com
