Samsung Captivate…

Answer by Thompson Family
Captivate all the way for three reasons. 1. Those 1Ghz processors FLY (I have the Droid Incredible) 2. You will be getting an OTA bring up to date to Android 2.2 shortly with the Captivate. HTC has not chose yet whether or not to upgrade the Aria. 3. While Android 3.0 has not yet been unrestricted, Google has already announced it. The rumor is that they “recommend” a 1Ghz processor in order to run 3.0, which in Google speak means (possibly with the exception of the Droid because it was so standard) no phone will be able to upgrade unless it has a GHz Processor. So basically, if you get the Aria, it will be the way it is now pretty much forever unless you hack it. You will not be able to use the cool features coming out in newer versions.

this depends on how you use it. if you do not require many functions and you want a cheap cell phone, i sugest you go to http://www.pickegg.com/indiscriminate/Cell-Phones.html, they are many cell phones for your choice.

I would take the Samsung captivate. What makes the difference for me is the AMOLED screen. The show is incredible.. trust me.

What do you reckon? Answer below!

Since I uploaded the new software on my HTC (T-Mobile) Wing, Windows Mobile desires to set up the device again… Unfortunately the touch screen is toast and I can’t commence the setup procedure without it. I’m not willing to buy a new screen since I never used the touch function…
Is there a downloadable system file that I can replace through ActiveSync so the device will reckon it’s already been set up?

Answer by sphinix
connect it to a Windows PC with ActiveSync installed, let the PC set up a partnership , use Windows Explorer to browser to windows/start up on your Wing, and rub out the “Welcome” file there.
Reset (poke the small reset hole) and you can use your PDA phone again, without a touchscreen.

HTC EVO 3D officially announced for Sprint
There’s not exactly a lot of surprises left at this point , but Sprint has just officially announced that it will be the exclusive carrier for the groundbreaking new HTC EVO 3D . The standout feature here is of course that 4.3-inch, glasses-free 3D show, but the phone is far from just a gimmick — you’ll also get a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, WiMAX connectivity (including mobile hotspot support), dual …

Sorry the ending was small, I was out of time. This was phone was a fantastic phone when I first got it. Considering I wasn’t a Tech Geek like I am now. It got all my emails done, it provided a fantastic web experience and was fun and simple to use. But, as time progressed the battery would start to die in a few hours, possibly 1 or 2. Then, the phone would start shutting off for no reason. It has some fantastic software, but no that fantastic quality. GOODS: Windows Mobile Professional, Active Sync, Usb to Mini Usb, Internet Speed, 5 way navigational key, Excellent Quality Camera, TouchFlo, Email BADS: Resistive Touchscreen, Small Touchscreen, No 3.5 mm jack, Not a fantastic keyboard(I suggest export spb keyboard), Terrible Resolution, No 3G, No Picture Mail or MMS, Small storage, Freezes, One port, Not a Loud speaker Overall: This phone is an okay phone for a business person, the keyboard will certainly slow you down for working and you don’t have 3G. It feels fantastic in the hand and you can sync. This will get your work done and is a fantastic price. I do suggest moving up to a Htc Diamond or pro or A Palm Pre.
