Sprint htc touch pro release date postponed?

the original release date was 10-19 which was yesterday but it does not appear to be out yet. does anyone know the new release date? thank you

If ur planning on getting this phone, then great choice! I read the comments (on the page with the link below) and other people say that it should come out on november 2nd. if not, it should be around there. between the end of october to the first few days of november. I cant wait for it to come out! Good Luck!

I heard first that it would come out last week. Then i heard it would come out yesterday. i just dont know when it will be released for Sprint!!! Any answers will be helpful!

PS(optional question) Would you recommend buying the Palm Pre or HTC Touch Pro 2 when it comes out?

Touch Pro 2, is by far a superior phone. It’s just Sprint dragging their butts getting it. Since the TP1 came out in NOV08, I’d expect them to squeeze a year out of it before releasing the TP2. Also, they are pushing the Pre really hard, so they may be holding off a little. I say give the people the phones they want before we jump-ship!!

I know, I am in the same situation. All over the web says mid-June, but it hasn’t came out yet. Also many other more reliable and professional sites and sources say Q3, and it looks like they are right. My guess is it comes out July, but no one knows for sure. They said it will come out shortly after the Pre releases. But also sites said the HTC Snap would come out after The Pro 2 in July, but they are wrong. Sprint just got a set of new released phones, so my guess is the next one will come out in a couple weeks with The HTC Touch Pro 2 in that set. The Pro 2 is good for typing emails, talking to others and keeping in touch with people, but also with some creative features. But the Pre, has a new Operating System that competes with the iphone’s, but also has other entertainment and business features. So they are both solid phones!

T mobile is getting their’s in early july and ppl are saying that sprint gets it second, so im guessing mid july. If i were u i would rather wait for the htc touch pro 2 come out. The pre is so complicated and the keys on there are really small and hard to type on. On the other hand, the pro 2′s keys are spacious and have a nice feel to them. wait for the htc tp2 to come out

Should the rumor hold up, AT&T should be getting the HTC Touch Pro 2. With being the only carrier out of the 4 major: T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon. Will AT&T be able to come from the rear and pull off for a win with a release date of October 18?
