G1 phone live chat app problem?
i have a rooted g1 dev 1 phone with the htc theme and i have the app live chat and its weird because now i cant upload photos into it like i did before it would give me an error message saying “error cropping image. do you have an sd card with enough memory?” which in fact i do i have a 4gb and i still have tons of memory. is it because i use the htc hero theme? or is it something else. i know for a fact it isnt the image because i have converted it from png to jpg and it still stated the same error, HELP?!

I have Live Chat too on my G1. I am able to upload a picture. Make sure the application itself is to date. There have been updates on the app. Bring up to date it & see if that makes a difference. You can also attempt to uninstall & reinstall the app itself. Last option would be to email the developer. Just say that you are having troubles.Clarify your conundrum.See if he/she emails you back with a solution.

I had called the 9:30 Club earlier and could’ve sworn I’d been told SLR cameras were permitted, but perhaps I misheard what may have really been that they were *not* permitted. I hadn’t yet went my new SD4000 into my backup kit… which meant that with my A650 now deceased: I didn’t *have* a backup kit. So my new cameraphone became backup… for better in the sense of preserving memories; for worse in the sense of getting any quality photos.
I’m considering export an HTC Hero phone on Sprint. I heard that the only negative about the phone was its rare sluggish-ness and its incapability to store apps on an external micro sd (it only stores music and stuff). It comes with a small internal memory chip that apparently only fits 20-30 apps. I heard rooting it would allow me to store apps on the micro sd, allowing me to download more apps. Is this right? Is it worth rooting an HTC Hero? What are the risks? What are some other benefits? And overall, WTF is rooting? Sorry, I’m new to hacking into phones and stuff. I usually just stick to the factory settings on things, but I feel like it’s time to go on up. Thanks
