I’m not sure about hottopic, but at http://www.rockworldeast.com All of the belts are categorized by waist size in inches, and they have a TON of studded belts.

I read on wikipedia and a couple of other sources to find out about how the Egyptian pyramids were built. It says there that according to some calculations about 10.000 to 15.000 people were used during the construction of the pyramid of Giza for a period of about 10 being, some sources go even further, to about 30.000 to 50.000 people.

Now, how would one provide food, water and a excellent environment for these people to work in? Because that is one of the dryest and hottest seats on earth, yet they were able to provide water for more than 10.000 workers each day, food in an area everywhere agriculture is just around the Nile river, and there was no disease although large gatherings of people in description usually led to some sort of disease appearing. What I mean to say, is that it seems quite impossible for the pyramids to be built in this way, but I hope someone can bring some evidence and prove how this was made.

PLEASE attach links to documentation and sources.
How much knowledge of mathemathics did the Egyptians have in order to be able to build the pyramids in an exact “pyramid” shape and also be able to place them in an exact position relative to those stars from constelations?

I reckon it’s bull-shit. They used levitation. Have you seen the size of those fucking bricks? Nu-uh, no way did those people carry them bricks.

Its not like they were just a giant mass out in the desert ,they built a small city around the work site Most were not even slaves they considered it an honor to work on it They just did their days work and went home

There are various arguments as to how the workforce was supported. The prevailing view among scholars now is that pyramid building was in part a sort of public make-work project to keep the populace busy during the time of the year when there was small farm work.
Water wouldn’t have been a conundrum because all the pyramids are pretty close to the Nile.

Answer by Louise C
I know that the workers were provided with food and accomodation, and the Nile is not very far away, so providing them with water would not have been a conundrum. The Egyptian Pharoah was immensely wealthy and powerful and would have had the resources to feed the men who worked on the pyramids without too much distress. He had the manpower.

All incorrect. Wasn’t a huge work force and Rube Goldberg ramps, levitation or aliens. A French chemist named Joseph Davidovits posed the theory that the pyramid blocks were really poured concrete. The theory has been validated by recent highly sophisticated studies. A sodium carbonate compund (NAtron-note the symbol for sodium in an ancient name, doubtless applied by the Greeks based on records of construction stored in the library at Alexandria but lost during its destruction-doubtless the single most tragic event, in terms of information loss, in ancient times ) found in the marshes of the Nile delta was used as a catalyst to bind crushed limestone and water and the mixture poured into wooden forms. This clarifies the uniformity of the blocks as well as the fact that each course is impeccably level. The pyramid age finished when the supply of natron was exhausted. The work force vital to build the pyramids in this style was much, much less vital than postulated for the carving and ramp theory, easily supported by the agricultural production of the region and accomodated by the housing and support facilities identified on the Giza plateau.

Egyptian knowledge of mathematics and geodatic surveying was greater than traditionally thought. They had defined their “country” as an area comprising 7 degress of longitude bisected by a vertical line pinched south of the center of the Nile delta. The Fantastic Pyramid is aligned, nearly impeccably, to the cardinal points of the compass. Coincidences in a monument of such staggering precision and durability (tallest structure in the world for at least 4500 being in anticipation of the Eiffel Tower was built!) As Spock would say, “highly unlikely.”
