Portable wikipedia device?

Is there a device that you can buy that only has wikipedia?Not like a pc or a phone,something NOT connected to the internet.Something about the size of a blackberry.Possibly with a way to hook it up to a computer and get updates.I want to have something like this.So is there anything like this on the promote now?The only reason I wouldn’t want a pc is because there a pain to drag around,and cells aren’t allowed in school.

No, because :

A) Wikipedia has tens of thousands of articles doubtless taking up a huge quantity of data, and ;
B) These articles are updated constantly so it would be impossilbe to store there on a device because they would be out of date as soon as you got it.

There is a mobile version of the wikipedia site which is available at http://wapedia.mobi/en/

You could access this on an internet enabled mobile phone. You could get the pages that you want while your wirless is turned on, save those pages in “off-line” mode so you can view the pages while the wireless is switched off (so you don’t break the school rules).

That’s all I can reckon of.

Hi there, I have a BlackBerry Curve 8520 and I was told by my friend that there is a new in commission system out for it, when I went to bring up to date my device in the Blackberry Desktop Administrator it says that there is no new version. I Checked Wikipedia (Or Wrongipedia as my Science Teacher calls it) and says that the latest version for my phone is 5.0.0.900, I have 5.0.0.681. How can I bring up to date it

If your provider has made 5.0.0.900 available you will be able to bed in it
