Does anyone know how to update a sprint mogul?
I have a Sprint Mogul and want to bring up to date the ROM. From what I know, after I do this I will lose all information on my Mogul. I have the active sync software but from what I know it does not save your contacts. What I would like help with is this:
1) How do I save contacts? (I do not use Microsoft Exchange or Microsoft Outlook, delight do not say “store to those”.)
2) Is there a way to just back up everything on to a disk? (In a functional way to copy back and forth. Not just to save and never be able to open it again.)
3) Why can I not find this information anywhere? It seems to be guarded information or all companies involved (Sprint, HTC, & Windows Mobile) are just a bunch of idiots that do not reckon everything through. It just seems as though this would be a common question.
Thank you for your help and delight do not use a lot of jargon in your answer.

Didn’t you get a cd with your Mogul? Go here;
http://www.google.com/search?q=activesync&rls=com.microsoft:en-us:IE-SearchBox&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=ie7&rlz=1I7GGLL
Hope that helps.

What rom stands for read only memory you cant bring up to date it. it is a actual memory card embeded in your phone to store os info are you talkin about and bring up to date to windows mobile 6 (wich would completly rub out and then rewrite the rom). if so that os not rom and if you are i know you dont want to hear this but active sync will only back up each thing if you are by office outlook.

Have you got a memory card?
If you do go here and get pimbackup bed in it on your memory card then find and run it it backs up everything to your memory card then after you restore run it to restore and it will bed in them.
http://www.freewareppc.com/database/pimbackup.shtml
Or you can get others like sprite backup which will also backup pictures and added programs http://www.spritesoftware.com/products/index.php?pid=191
Or if you want to search for others search for (pim software)then look for ones that work with windows mobile 5 or 6
Then remove your memory card and run the rom upgrade .

The frame rate is a small bit better than what you see in the video. This is because the video capturing software that I used takes some system resources and the game starts dropping some frames. In this video, the audio is out of sync, but this is because the video capturing software is not working properly. Audio works OK in the game.
