How do I create Windows Mobile 6 themes?

How do I create Windows Mobile 6 themes?

I have a T-Mobile Wing running on WM6. I want to know how I can make my own themes, versus downloading the crappy ones I’ve found.

windows mobile 6 themes

I spent quite some time playing with my Pocket PC tonight – unlocking the SIM lock, removing the CID, installing a custom ROM of Windows Mobile 6 with a very, very nice black theme, and then restoring all the settings and profile info back to it.

And here is the finished job, sat nicely in its cradle :)

I have a T-Mobile Dash on WM6 and I am trying to download themes. The Tmobile dash i used to have is on Windows Mobile 6 also. The ancient Dash I can bed in themes and it changes the colors of the skins but, nothing else, it would not change the wallpaper. My new Dash, whenever I bed in the .tsk file and go into settings/home screen/select color scheme it changes the skin to a black and grey colored skin no matter what theme I choose. It will not change it to the color it supposed to change to. I have saved the .tsk files on my memory card, on my phone, in my documents folder, I have also made a MyThemes folder in both the memory card and phone itself. No matter everywhere I place it, it shows up in my settings option but, it only changes to a black and grey theme and I am installing themes that are not black and grey. I have seen online you only need to bed in the .tsk files in the main memory of the phone and not make a folder but it does not seem to make a difference. Delight help.

The .tsk files must reside in the Windows (root) folder. Go to Start > Settings > Personal > Today > Appearance to change the theme.
Hope that helps.
