HTC Hd2 vs HTC Hero and Iphone 3gs?

From what I’ve read, and if you’re adventerous, the HD2 wins. You can transplant a full Android 2.1 bed in into it, and the specs are nice.

I have the choice to get the iPhone 3gs right now or stay with verizon and get the upcoming htc hero.
Pretty much this is what i will be doing with the phone i get…

1. Texting is a huge part
2. Calls aren’t that huge but when i’m at home i can tell them to just call my home phone to get better reception.
3. APPS are huge for me i like playing games to entertain me….
4. Music is another pretty huge thing
5. battery life is vital and should be able to last me one day hopefully.
6. price…..

Which should i go with??? I have been wanting the iPhone for a couple months but ever since the hero news came out i’m considering staying with verizon….
