Samsung EPIC or HTC EVO SHIFT (with qwerty board)?

With Sprint and have lessened it down to these. Reviews keeping bouncing back and forth between the two, so hard to choose. Looking for hands on experience that can shed some set alight.

i have an upgrade in feb and i now have the lg rumor touch and i despise it but for my upgrade im stuck between the htc evo shift 4g and the blackberry style. i have heard positive reviews on both but though some negative reviews on the blackberry. im essentially just by the phone for calling, texting, and surfing the internet. so delight give me your opinions

Get the Epic. Much better screen with the slide out keyboard, Android, and it’s 4G. But Shift over blackberry.

I’d go with the EVO Shift 4G. Everyone I know has switched from Blackberries to Android phones because it’s so much simpler to sync your information. Plus, if your surfing the internet a lot, Android is going to be much quicker. Engadget discussion about this a lot, but Blackberries have issues with internet speed. I agree with them. I despised my Blackberry Storm 2. I’m a Droid X user now. I like it.
