i downloaded a software to bring up to date my htc windows mobile…….KAISER_WM6.5__3_34_721_V23__B21501 .but i cant extract it because it was password protected…..everywhere can i get this encrypted password.help me guys

Try looking everywhere you downloaded the app at and see if it has it listed their.

if it is a rar file u can use rar password extractor

Some sites have the password listed next to the download link so just revisit the page again.If you cant remember the page input the file name in google for a list of sites hosting the file.

So, I found out about sharing internet tie between my phone a few days ago. But all of them said that I either have to jailbreak my droid, download software on both the comp and phone, or connect them both via a usb cable.
but i dont want to jailbreak my droid because i do not want to risk it getting hurt permanently; but if thats the only pronouncement to go for, i would jailbreak it if i find out how.
I also dont know what kind of software to download to both the comp and phone, so thats kind of out of the question.
And, last but not least, I lost my phones usb adapter a long time ago and I use my ancient phones charger (the ancient phone did come with a usb cord but i also lost that.) *I have a knack for losing things that are really vital.

So is there any other way I can share the internet tie between my htc droid eris and my toshiba satellite l305d? (my laptop does not have bluetooth, neither do any of my other computers.)
If I do need a usb cable, everywhere would I go to buy one? I don’t want to order online, so none of that
Also, I googled froyo for htc droid eris and it showed an article saying that the phone will not get that bring up to date.

There’s an app called PDANet which will do this, there’s a free version and a paid version (the free version won’t do secure websites). To find the app open Promote on the phone and search for it.

Also if you have Android 2.2 (Froyo) on the Eris, the capability is built in; on the phone go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Tethering (if you can’t find that then you don’t have 2.2).

Both methods require a USB cable – if you lost the original one, find another one – as long as it fits the phone and the computer it’ll work, it’s a common size used in lots of cameras, MP3 players, etc.
