Why is my HTC Hero running slow?

Why is my HTC Hero running slow?

I had my hero for about a lil over 3 months now, and when im tryin to send a text it usually takes bout like a lil more than 7 seconds and before it jus sent it rite away. And also my text messages arrive 3 to 4 minutes late, because it shows the time wen i sent it.. and then once i recieve a text it shows a few minutes before the current time…like for example.. i send a text at 1:50…thn the text i recieve gets here at 1:55 and wen i read the text arrival time it shows 1:51..so i dont know what to do and im by a 4gb memory card…
Bout the system updates , i dont know what they do like the Firmware bring up to date, Bring up to date profile, and Bring up to date PRL… idk what they do or idk if im suppose to bring up to date it

So If you guys can help me with this ill really appreciate it….thnx!!

The issue is doubtless with your carrier. Sometimes it’s just a lousy signal.

I don’t know what updating a “profile” does or a “PRL”, since I’ve never seen that on either Android phone I’ve owned.

The firmware bring up to date is a system bring up to date for Android. Just run it and follow the screens. It will add fixes and updated to Android.

I had called the 9:30 Club earlier and could’ve sworn I’d been told SLR cameras were permitted, but perhaps I misheard what may have really been that they were *not* permitted. I hadn’t yet went my new SD4000 into my backup kit… which meant that with my A650 now deceased: I didn’t *have* a backup kit. So my new cameraphone became backup… for better in the sense of preserving memories; for worse in the sense of getting any quality photos.

I had HP iPAQ rx3710, Asus P535 and now I’m an title-holder of HTC Hero. So I was always wondering why do they have so small memory, is the memory for smartphones/PDA some special, expensive or trying to manufacture? Why don’t the producers equip them with gigabytes of memory? Because usual RAM for PCs and laptops is relatively cheap.

I mostly consider RAM because one can always insert a sparkle memory, so sparkle storage is not a huge deal. Thanks for your answers :)

In my view it seems to me that they want you to buy a higher memory card for the phone. For my smart phone I got a 1giga byte memory card which doesn’t hold that much information. I got a 16GB memory card after all.
