Installing software on htc hd2?

My hd2 was running really slow so i pressed the void button on the back. Huge mistake, as it has took my phone back to its original factory settings and I have no thought how on earth I get all my apps back including media player and settings menu etc. Anyone have any thoughts?

You can’t unless you had backed them up to your SD card. If you have T-Mo you can get your contacts backed up to your phone from their website. As far as other carriers go, I’m not sure. But from now on when you Android slows down make sure that you try these things first.
Rub out all of your text messages and emails
Get the App: Advanced Task Killer and set the security to one of the higher levels (it will tell you that you have to restart to take effect and also (before you reset) (reset = turn phone off and then on) set the program to “kill Apps on screen off”

You have to keep a constant eye on how many Emails/Texts are on your phone. I used to get bogged down with my G1 for the same reasons. Doubtless like once a week or so it’s excellent to rub out ancient messages.

Also make sure to get a excellent file administrator from the Android Promote (Astro and AndroZip are both fantastic) this will allow you to back up your Apps to your SD card and also allow for quicker and simpler Email deletion.
