T-Mobile vs. Sprint?
I am looking to get a new contract with one of these companies. The reason it is between those 2 is because of the upcoming google’s Android mobileOS, and T-Mobile and Sprint is in a group with google to basically guarantee that they will release the android platform on their network. I am leaning towards T-Mobile at the moment because Tmobile has basically said that they will be supporting the HTC Dream, the supposed first android phone being unrestricted later this year. But say Sprint picks it up also, which one would you guys recommend? I’ve heard excellent and terrible from both companies in different areas, and I just want to see your guy’s view on my issue. I live in Missouri if that helps at all with coverage knowledge.

T-Mobile and Sprint PCS are practically the exact same type of company. They both are small companies that only take in major highways and interstates with their own service. T-Mobile relies on AT&T Mobility for roaming coverage while Sprint PCS relies on Verizon Wireless for roaming coverage. Sprint PCS will provide better call quality but hopefully you never have to call their customer service department. T-Mobile has been rated to have the best customer service department for numerous being (right after Verizon’s). Sprint has been rated to have the worst customer service in any industry. I recommend Sprint for better call quality and more coverage while I recommend T-Mobile for better customer service.
***Verizon Wireless is also expected to be the first wireless carrier to support the Google Android Service.

Well….T-Mobile’s Got better Service and The Sidekick, while Sprint’s got the Instinct. The Instinct is awsome, But so is the Sidekick. Verizon’s the best. Best Phones and Best Service.

the question that i would question; if i was in ur shoes,is. how much 3g coverage does each company have in your area? the company that has the most 3g coverage is the way to go. that companies phone will be competent of doing more w/ what the phone has to offer, don’t u reckon.

Sprint-
Pros:
It has a kinda cool logo and name
Cons:
Terrible Phones
Terrible Signal (which means more roaming which means more money)
very very very terrible emphasis on the very terrible costumer service. They don’t handle your problems in any way and if you call them a certain digit of times they automatically cancel your contract.
Everything about this network is terrible… verry terrible… if you go in there just asking questions for plans they wanna force you into export something straight away.
T-Mobile
Pros:
Nice phones
Fantastic Costumer service
GSM service provider
Awesome Plans
Cheaper Features
etc, etc, etc
Cons:
The only con that i can really reckon of is that they don’t have that strong of a signal as CDMA providers like metro PCS and Verizon. That being said they have decent signal/coverage. Don’t expect to get 4 bars in a house that isn’t New York or a huge city city
god bless
hope i helped (:
*****EDIT*****
For those of you that are stating that T-Mobile is a small service provider that only gives service on major cities and highways that is a lie. They may give a hell of a lot of a stronger signal there, but you can get a T-Mobile signal anywhere unlike sprint which literally make you want to sprint away from them.
once again god bless and hope i helped

Okay guys so I need some help on what mobile to get, because I’m really stuck!
I just had a broken LG webslider (worst phone ever) and I’m looking for a replacement for my Dad to get cheap from Dubai to send over to Australia.
I’ve had people nag about troubles with iPhones, such as touch screens becoming unresponsive after one drop, and I would REALLY like one of the new sidekicks but unlocked ones don’t work properly in Australia. Hiptop 3 or Slide would be preference if they weren’t so expensive in Australia.
I really like the HTC Dream and the HTC Magic, and my requirements would be a QWERTY keyboard and generally excellent durability, other than candybar style QWERTY phones.
Recommendations?

Get Snow ericsson XPERIA X1.
It have everything you need – touch screen , your desired keyboard, and what not. It runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 professional – you know what windows mobile professional is the best in commission system for mobile ever made.
.
Or otherwise you can bye Nokia n97. The best mobile computer nokia made ever. And it also have that type of keyboard that you want. And it’s also touchscreen. You mentioned about iPhone and you know what iPhone dose not support multitasking . Instead of export iPhone its better to buy nokia 5800 that support multitasking and many fantastic feature than iPhone. 5800 and n97 run on the same in commission system. But 5800 have no keyboard. And n97 have huge storage.
.
Oh yeah HTC phones are fantastic because as i know they run on windows mobile.
.
After export let us know which one you bought and why. Ok
