is it cheaper to get a new line or upgrade for sprint htc evo?

im currenttly with tmobile but want to go with sprint. i know there is an unfilled line that was suppose to be canceled but never was, so i was wondering if i was to get a phone, like the htc evo, would it cost alot more to upgrade, or just cancel that line, and open a new one when the phone comes out.

I’d stick to t-mobile & buy an unlocked Evo. well that’s what I’m doing. you’ll get r4ped by sprint’s monthly fee’s,

Yes, it would be much cheaper to get a new line then get the sprint htc evo for the special 2 year contract pricing of $ 199
