should i ask my parents if i should root my htc incredible?

so i’m thinking about rooting my htc incredible with unrevoked3. i don’t have a 2 or 1 year plot. just a basic month to month and my phone was bought from ebay. so would you reckon it’s wise to root my phone without my parent’s knowing? also, if i root, how do i go back to stock?

Rooting your phone is not a huge thing, you wont get extra charges on your bill for rooting, if u want to root your phone just do it.

Also i dont recommend you by unrevoked3, i have heard alot of people are having issues with it, that program messes up your phone. You need to use a program called Visionary, below is the download link for the program.
