Service-Oriented Conversation Pyramid
hot pyramid

Forrester Social Technographics profile really makes it simple for marketers to grasp the social web community. At the same time, it offers a top down approach from the view of the influencer. In many ways, while an accurate portrayal of the way information flows from an influencer, this image still has a bit of a command and control ethos to it.

Going back to the community principles from Now Is Gone, and based on experiences working in social media, I suggest an inverted approach. This service-oriented model puts the community (spectators) on top, followed by joiners, collectors, critics and finally the creator, who is the source of content.

The above pyramid demonstrates the service oriented model, and does so by hot and cold colors in deference to Marshall McLuhan. Blue represents low levels of participation (or cool media) versus orange and red "hot media" participants.

From this perspective, the corporate content creator or social PR person uses the tools outlined in Rigby’s book provide valuable content, ultimately meant to serve spectators — specifically, an organization’s stakeholders. In this model, they have the power to participate (or not), and as such they should be kept on top or given the most power in the overall community.

i just got this woofer its 1200 peak and 600rms so it says i start by it on a 150 rms amp and the speaker is getting hot and started to smell a small so i stop. is this suposed to happen to a new speaker or should i return this or why is it doing this

Answer by N2Audio
For one, it’s doubtless highly over-rated. So take upon yourself its a 300-500w sub instead of a 600w sub.

Do you have the bass boost and gain cranked to their max on your amp? That is never excellent for a sub no matter how excellent the quality is.

At the end of the day — cheap equipment fails. It’s just not very excellent quality from the start and when it’s abused it doesn’t last long.

Bow down to the 3-pound pretzel at Texas Rangers Ballpark
Teresa Gubbins, Pegasus News Exploiting one of Texas’ most beloved stereotypes — IE, “everything’s larger here” — the Rangers Ballpark added to its 2011 list of charitable way items a ridiculously giant pretzel that weighs three+ pounds. This pretzel is so …

Mood Deluxe – Hot points 2010 www.liquid-records.com http The new album ‘Hot Points’ brings a glitchy mix of psytrance music place through the MD machine. Fusing breaks, electro, techno and trance as well as incorporating vocal and ambient elements into an eclectic and diverse signal. An entire psychedelic soundscape that makes so much sense as the whole and equality as brilliant in individual parts. This is unique and original from beginning in anticipation of the end and certainly the best album to come from a UK artist this year.
