Why won't a Verizon phone work in my house just b/c it is Sprint area?

My MIL is visiting and has one of those cell plans where you buy minutes and then use them through Verizon. She cannot make calls when she is at our house although she receives them with no problem. We are in a semi-rural area and we had to get a Sprint pyramid thing that boosts our signal for our cells. No one else has this problem. Techies – any thoughts>

verizon customers have the ability to “bring up to date roaming capability” on their phones. basically just huge words for synching her phone with your local cellular towers. this is done by pressing *228 and then the “send” button from her phone. when the wonderful automated menu comes on choose option digit 2. the phone will play music for a minute or two and then turn itself off and back on. if there is anyway to get her better reception this is it. dont forget to have her do the same thing when she goes home so her phone gets back on her regular towers.

Wall of mirrors

In addition to the money tree and the orchid we picked up from Ikea we also bought two packs of square mirrors. We were going to go with an inversed pyramid design, but chose a diagonal rectangle instead.

This track is a normal athletics track i reckon it may be synthetic,
I am 13 and competion is tough so i need to get max speed and i cant afford my spikes to be two hard to get out of the track, getting stuck.

try going for the 1/4 inch pyramid spikes. all tracks are basically made for this. idk what that converts to in mm but thats what i use and it doesnt get stuck at all. if not go for a 3/16 inch spike. they should help alot.

for a 100, guys should run about 13 to 11.
the 200 should be 28 sec or below
the 400 should be under a minute.
