If you disable HTC sense do the skinned apps return to normal looking stock apps in android?

I have seen that you can disable HTC Sense on phones like the Hero, I am thinking about getting an android phone from HTC but prefer the stock look on the apps. I don’t like the rounded slider at the bottom of some. Thanks for your help.
Is this the case with apps like messaging?

Depends on the phone but you can download the stock .apk and install it to replace the HTC Sense.

Do you mean the Gravity Sense? Or Tach pad?

I think it’s nothing to do with the skins. And you could change the skin to any look as you like, using the software like the ahome.

In the small satellite space, an intrepid team at NASA has figured out that a stock Android HTC phone can work just fine as a low-cost satellite (it has a better processor than many satellites, and decent multi-axis sensors and GPS. They already know it works in a vacuum.)

Here it is mounted in a cubesat chassis with extra batteries and a yellow metal tape measure for an antenna.

Launched with a balloon from central California, this frame is from the video captured by a Go Pro HD camera at 100,000 ft. They tracked it with GPS and the APRS network, and followed the satellite beeping with a handheld antenna and HAM radio gear.

HTC is listed under the ticker name “2498″. Type 2498 in and it will pop up HTC Corporation and that is the stock you would purchase.
