Can I change the firmware on Bell's HTC Touch Diamond?

I’d like to exchange the firmware on my new HTC Touch Diamond from Bell Canada to the first firmware which Telus uses on their Touch Diamonds. I really despise chimes CRAP firmware and they completely ruined this phone for me. I need to know a way to exchange the firmware without losing my signal or something. Thanks in advance.

Days gone by there was a post on one of the tech blogs I go to (any, gizmodo.com, engadget.com, or boygeniusreport.com) and they had an article about someone doing this. Right now the file is only available in a rom and not an executable file. Thats really all i know about it. I have no thought if you will lose anything.

Yes, you can exchange the firmware, but be warned, it will void your warranty and technically carries the risk of bricking your phone if you aren’t careful.

Your phone is CDMA if it’s Bell Canada. You’ll want to be 100% certain that you only flash roms meant for CDMA phones onto yours. And before flashing, be absolutely certain to install an app called HardSPL onto your phone (might need to be sure it’s a version meant for CDMA, I’m not sure if there’s two different ones). Do a lot of reading and feel free to question questions at the forum, we are all pretty capable of helping you out with making your phone do near anything you can imagine.

Oh, and flashing new roms onto your phone won’t cause problems with how your phone is registered to the network.

Hi, Blackberry storm is excellent for durability and modular rubust design, for speed of internet it depends on the service provider you are selecting and amount of traffic on wireles direct for Service provider.

Speed of Processor is better in Blackberry Storm then HTC Touch Diamond. HTC Touch is excellent look wise, Resolution of screen, Multimedia Before a live audience and some MP3/4 features are excellent.

As far as mobile processor speed is concern i will go with blackberry
