Deciding between Sprint HTC Mogul and LG Rumor?

Deciding between Sprint HTC Mogul and LG Rumor?

I spend a ton of time text messaging on my current Samsung A920, but I also like the NFL application and the On Demand tools that the Samsung has. Both phones have the qwerty keyboard, but my bigger question is data speed and also assigning custom ringers to each caller. Anyone have any input on these two questions?

i have the rumor and my brother in law has the mogul. i reccommend the mogul because it has way more features and all i can do on my rumor is text. so if i could choose it would be the mogul.

i really want the rumor cuz i’m a big texter too so i’ve been reading reviews and they say the rumor is pretty slow. go to cnet.com they give really good electronic reviews.

I just bought the Touch and my best friend has the Mogul. Two great phones. I had 3 LG phones that both broke one month before I was eligible for the discount.

You are going to have better data speed on the HTC Mogul because it has Powervision (EVDO) versus the Rumor which has Vision (3G). I know you can assign ringers to play for specific callers on the LG Rumor but on the HTC Mogul you have to purchase 3rd party software from http://softwarestore.sprint.com to get ringers. Also with the Mogul i’m not sure if you can assign ringers to a specific caller or not….haven’t had a chance to play around with that one yet. Hope this helps.

i would get the mogul because the rumor is quite slow and sometimes it won’t keep up with texting and will leave letters off words. the mogul has more cool features than the rumor and the rumor doesn’t even have ev-do. the rumor has been having issues where it will wipe out all of your memeory and you can’t turn it back on, but LG is trying to fix that but it might take weeks. just get the mogul.

Im a Sprint user, and I already know HTC Touch Pro 2 is being sold online on the Sprint website, but when will it be sold in actual retail stores?

Answer by BIGDADDYCOOL
I was under the impression they were being sold in Verizon stores. Maybe I’m wrong, but I could have sworn.
