Evolution....A question for people that believe?
In the early 1900′s the earth hit the first 1 billion population . Of course in the past 100 years we have hit over 6 billion even with all the wars ,famines,diseases, influenzas. The worst events man has ever seen in such a short period of time. So, taking this into account,if you date back from 1900,the bible stating mankind has been here for 6000 years.(not the earth..in the beginning god created the heavens and the earth) So, no argument the earth is billions of years old. But, if mankind was even alive 50,000 years ago…do the arithemitic if just each family had 4 kids(which they didnt have birth control) and you kept on multiplying that….we would have already populated the earth who knows how many times over.If you take the 6000 years the bible says…along with it also saying where mankind began( which is proven in the middle east, No one denies the fact of the pyramids).you could easily substantiate that it would be a very reasonable time period for mankind to get to the population they have now.So, wether you agree with the bibles creation account. It is 100% plausible that mankind could have only been here for 6000 years. Waiting for response…Mark

Antibiotics weren’t even discovered until 60 years ago!
Vaccines weren’t discovered until the mid 1900s!
Medical procedures weren’t done aseptically until the last 100 years!

Population growth isn’t a constant rate. You missed the fact that modern medicine and technology is able to keep more people alive for longer periods of time.

Hmmmm let’s see….we didn’t have immunity to many diseases, crappy hopitals and there were far more peoples who died in early childhood then those that made it to adulthood.
