How do you sync FB contact pictures on the HTC Evo Shift?

I just got the HTC Evo Shift and it is suppose to import all the pictures from facebook to my contacts’ pictures, but it won’t do that. I have my account set up on FB HTC Sense but when I hit sync, nothing happens. Also, under each contact, it will have a link suggestion to the person’s facebook, but when I click the link, it still won’t sync up.
Emma’s answer did not help. I click the bar to link it but it won’t do anything. It will say loading for like, a second and then nothing changes

I have an HTC Inspire so im sure it works in a similar way. There is a chain link looking icon when you are looking at a contacts, contact card. Touch it then touch facebook then it should bring up a search bar and search for that contact on there, when you choose the persons name it will link their facebook with your contact right then, so all you do is click done, you dont do anything else. Maybe that will help.

You shouldnt have to really hit sync on anything though.

I had this conundrum too with my new Shift and looked around at a few sites… I found one that said you have to exchange the group your contact is in. Go to public, edit contact, exchange group (friends, family, family, etc). After that, go back and link the contact and it should work… worked for me anyway. Hope it helps!!
