Nokia N96 Software Download Help!?

I’m facing a conundrum in my N96, wenever I wanna download Windows Live Messenger for Mobile from the “Downloads” it downloads nd makes a warning sound & cant open the msn :S. I updated my phone to the latest version nd re-download it, it didnt work i even download the msn for mobile from my pc nd place it on my phone , also didnt work. What’s incorrect with my phone :S? I rlly need to get the msn asap! What do i do?

Try updating your firmware first. Make sure its the latest firmware then try again. Worked for me.

i can open the messaging application on my htc diamond, neither the sms or email but i can see the review of the messages so i reckon the aplication has a fault so i was wondering where i can download the software to reinstall it ? or a fix or something?

I dont reckon u can just reinstall just the SMS part . You will need to do a hardreset.
