Ciao again! I'm mostly posting this for Gaara~san. This is the deck I'm probably gonna use in my first Shonen jump championships. I'm not really sure how it's gonna do though. I've only used it in once in tournament level play, it was at my leisure activity league and it took 2nd place…. Because I accidentally decked for myself out~ yes I know what your thinking~ "how thoughtless do you have to be to accidentally deck yourself out" it's stupid but simple~ both me and my opponent played morphing jar and card destruction. But anyway~ here's my current deck, it seems a bit jumbled, but it seems to work~

Monsters~
3 cyber dragon
2 vampire lord
2 tyro juggler
2 ancient vindictive juggler
2 exploder dragon
Morphing jar
Sangan
DMOC
Pyramid turtle
D. D. warrior lady
Juggler of belief
Hand of nephthys
Treebourn frog
Spirit reaper
Sacred phoenix of nephthys

Spells~
2 rival controller
Book of moon
Hammer shot
Nobleman of crossout
Premature burial
Soul exchange
Scapegoat
Heavy storm
Giant trunade
Brain control
Card destruction

Traps~
2 widespread ruin
2 compulsory evacuation device
Call of the haunted
Torrential tribute
Mirror force
Interdimensional matter transporter

This deck abuses morphing jar and card destruction. I try to use both on my turn so that I get to pick through I really want, and toss the rest for a new hand, while my opponent is losing 5 cards at a time~
Otherwise this deck plays like a excellent ancient beatdown! One of the most amusing things I did with this was during the one tournament. I had phoenix on the field, one set card and treebourn in the grave. It gos to my opponent's turn. He special command cyber dragon, tributes it for a raiza, targeting my phoenix… and I drop torrential tribute! It wipes the field of monsters. He ends his turn. My turn starts. Phoenix comes back and kills all 4 of his facedowns. Treebourn comes back too. I tribute treebourn for vampire lord. And with the field wide open, swing for 4400 hurt out of his 3900!! I was laughing my a** off!
Well anyway~
I also wanted to clarify how a new and vastly underestimated new card works
Cyberdark impact: TAEV-EN045
Normal spell
Restore 1 "cyberdark edge", "cyberdark keel", and "cyberdark horn" from your side of the field, hand or burial ground to your deck. Special summon 1 "Cyberdark Dragon" from your fision deck. (this special summon is treated as a fusion summon) your deck is then shuffled.

It's basically the perfect fusion summoning card, but only for cyberdarks

And now to question an actual question. What deck do you reckon is gonna do well in this new meta game, now that the ban list is in effect?

i say it is a fantastic deck, but if your opponent has cards like necro gardna to block attacks and treeborn frog if they have no facedowns you may maybe be in distress, if they draw cards like divine wrath and heavy storm it may maybe get rid of some of your powerful trap cards like compulsory evacuation device, call of the haunted, mirror force, or widespread ruin. I would suggest that you place a magic cylinder in and take out the phoenix of nephthys. it is powerful for wiping the field of spell and trap cards, but life 7 stars makes 2 sacrifices, i would say to get rid of persons 2 nephthys cards and add in something like another pyramid turtle or some monarchs. though from what you posted before, you seem to not like them, you refer to them as cookie cutter cards. i agree but they are excellent. I would say to place in your own necro gardnas and night assailant, since its effect would let you bring back ancient vindictive, MOF, or morphing jar. also somthing like cyber summon blaster…

Not a terrible deck…..But here is what I judge a zombie deck should look like. There are some major differences to yours and I trully judge that the one below is much better. But choose for yourself…..

Without further ado I give you:

Monsters: 20
3 Zombie Master
3 Pyramid Turtle
3 Giant Rat
2 Il Blud
2 Cyber Dragon
2 Exiled Force
2 Ryu Kokki
1 Regenerating Mummy
1 Breaker the Magical Warrior
1 Card Trooper

Spells: 16
3 Book of Life
3 Rival Controller
2 Nobleman of Crossout
2 Card of Safe Restore
1 Creature Swap
1 Brain Control
1 Heavy Storm
1 Scapegoat
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Premature Burial

Traps: 4
1 Call of the Haunted
1 Mirror Force
1 Torrential Tribute

As always …..

Hope this helps…..

well, before the review, the major decks this format will probably be zombie beatdown, modified machine beatdown, venom burn, spellcasters, alessa control, and gemini swarm. monarchs should go without saying, they’ll always be here, but theyll be a bit weaker, at least at the beginning of the format.

now onto your deck, i personally like the jar/destruction combo, not so first, but a favorite drawing combo that will easily run through your deck and trash your opponent’s hand, and even if it is QUITE a bit jumbled, even though it contains a few excellent staples, im going to do my best to make an interchangeable spellcaster/zombie build that will both conform and break the new meta, charitable you an increased draw and a stronger point swing.

first off, exploder dragon, even if a excellent card, is nowhere near excellent enough, its only place is in a cyberdark deck, and in the sideboard at that, i severely reccommend not using them
matter trans, terrible card, it can be excellent for trap dodging cards like mirror force, but sometimes, you just need to know when to say ok, and let the monster go, and then whip out call of the haunted and proceed to get off another attack.

anyway, here’s the new build, anything with a * next to it earnings that it’s reccommended for sideboarding.

cydra 3
dmoc
jar
appmag 2*
ovm 2*
CRYSTAL SEER 3*
juggler of belief*
breaker the magical warrior
sangan*
gravekeeper’s spy 2*
gemini summoner 3
MARSHMELLON*

e con
book
noc 2 *x1
prema
brain
smashing ground
storm
magical dimension 2*
card
emergency provisions

call
torrential
mirror
royal decree
excellent gnome housekeeping 3

zombie master 3
il blud 3
pyramid turtle 3
vampire lord 3
book of life 3

the mail build was out of sheer simplicity and focuses on sheer drawing power and dmoc and cydras for main attacking power. i reccommend reduction moon for if dmoc would be ruined, he’ll be sent to the grave instead of removed so he can be easily specialed. also, the largest drawing combo is emergency provisions and 3 excellent goblins, you chain goblins and eprov so eprov will drestroy goblins letting you draw 12 cards! but you may want to stick with the sideboard-in because the zombies will give you the beatdown that you like so much.
