Sprint cell phones. HTC Evo Shift or Samsung EPIC?

i sell cell phones and in my opinion the Epic is the better phone. it has an LCD screen that really makes the colors pop. It’s also a little bigger and from what i’ve seen more popular than the shift

a tad older, but has more functions
you can go to any sprint store and weigh them out

I have an upgrade available for Sprint and I heard for 4G you have to pay an extra $ 10/month. Is that true? What is the difference between the Hero and the Evo Shift? If you have to pay an extra $ 10/month for the Evo Shift is it worth it.

If you want to get a phone right now, I would get the Evo 4G since it has the bigger screen, HDMI, an 8MP camera, and a larger community to support the newest android updates. However, I would wait until the Evo 3D comes out in June to get the latest and greatest (Faster hardware and 3d screen and cameras). I have the HTC Hero and its a good phone, but it has been out for a long time (slower processor and no flash support) and has a much smaller screen than the Evo 4G, I believe the extra 10 dollars applies for any new phone you purchase regardless if you get 3G or 4G.
