Anyone know where I can download software to sync my Samsung SPH-A640 contacts?

I am able to fruitfully transfer my contacts with BitPim but it changes the personal ringer for each contact to ringtone 1 and wont let me use my customized ringtone. HELP PLEASE

Fantastic question. Yes, you can order that particular “Data Cable” and software (which is necessary) directly from a company called FutureDial. They have two types of software available. Finally got a card reader that doesn’t croak on my microSD cards from the phones… so a small out of order here. Back in Venice (sitting at the water in Piazza del Marco).

Would have uploaded sooner but the Sync software from Samsung is NOT FREE. Bahh!

I have the data cable, but my computer does not recognize the phone.

you need a driver, or if that phone has and option to connect between a card and a computer that doesn’t care about the phone, you could connect with it, but I doubt that. try here
