ok, so my two-year contract for my ancient phone is ending on february 19, and i want to get a new phone. I really like the way samsung gravity looks like. Should i get it? I went on the Tmobile website to see the price but it doesnt show. it says temporarily out of stock. So should i buy this phone or another phone? My budget is 50 bucks to 100 bucks. it has to be a color of black or blue or gray. any suggestions for me?

If you really like the Phone, then it’s worth the wait. Although you may also want to consider going for an unlocked phone so you dont need to renew your contract.

I have a gravity. The battery life sucks, to be honest. You HAVE to charge your phone each night, all night. And if you talk on it all morning then it will certainly die later in the evening unless you charge it. But thats really the only conundrum. If you have a car charger and you don’t forget to charge it, its a fantastic phone. I’ve dropped mine more times than I can even count (no wonder its called the gravity :p), and it still works like new. I’ve even dropped it in water, and it still works. I don’t remember how much it costs, since my dad paid for it lol, but I do know we got a really excellent rebate on it. I got the teal and white, and my brother got the grey and conservational. I prefer the teal and white, but really the colors are up to you. When we first got ours, a few of the buttons on the keyboard stuck really terrible, but it goes away the more you use it. I was just letting you know that, in case you do choose to buy it, that your phone isn’t broken or anything lol.
I like the gravity. I reckon you should get it, but you should talk to someone at a tmobile store before you make your pronouncement to be sure its really the right phone.

bwone.com twitter.com facebook.com Deuctshe Telekcom the parent company of T-Mobile has chose to sell T-Mobile USA to AT&T for billion in cash and stock. It will break down to million in cash and million in stock that will give the parent company Deuctshe Telekcom a 8% stake in T-Mobile. The combined deal is said to take about 12 months to get through all the red tape but when combine will make a user base of about 130 million people and they will have made a de facto monopoly on GSM in the US. AT&T also claims that this will help expand its LTE trace to about 95% of the US or about 294 million people. T-Mobile while has not been the largest company or leading network was always one of the top companies when it came to customer service while AT&T has struggled in this aspect. What will this mean for the new Sidekick 4G, G2X or the G-Slate? They will doubtless launch as normal but does make you reckon about the future of such devices. Mergers of large companies like this usually mean prices will stay the same or raise, layoffs will occur and less competition out there for growth of the promote in general. We’ve seen huge telecom mergers happen in the past with AT&T Wireless, Cingular then AT&T and Cingular and Sprint and Nextel which never went that smooth and prices either remained the same or raised. But it may end up going ok and in a quieter way like Verizon and Alltel deal went if you remember that it happened? That’s right most don’t as they kept that …
