I need to decide between the samsung epic 4g or HTC evo shift 4G. Which phone is better?

I originally wanted to get the G2(tmobile), but I decided to go to sprint. I want to either get the samsung epic 4g or the htc evo shift, but I dont know which phone is better.

Epic, the Shift is a stripped down version of the epic as far as i can tell

which one is newer? go on youtube and look at reviews for the phone and what ever one u like get that one

Get the shift, HTC phones are always better imho. Sense is the best android UI, HTC supports their phones better, the shift is ABSOLUTELY NOT a “stripped down” Epic. It is simply more compact. I have a regular EVO and you could not pay me enough to trade it for a Samsung.

Get the Epic. It has a bigger, brighter display and one of the best keyboards around. In my opinion it’s really easy to use.

I just saw the HTC Shift and i might decide to get that instead of an oqo 02 or Sony VAIO UX390. If i can use it without having to have a cell phone subscription or anything (i dunno cuz htc is a phone company and i don’t know if this umpc is tethered to a cell phone service or not) then i’ll buy it.

well i was Reading and it looks like ur not tied into a cellphone company. the shift has the capability to use a sim card so u can get ur Internet and cellphone service that way; but it also has wi-fi too. it is an awesome UMpc; i love that keyboard/cover it got gone on; lol.
