How do you beam pictures from a Google Android phone? G1?
I just got this G1 and I don’t know how to beam pictures. With my ancient phone, the t mobile dash I only had to go to the picture and press menu and then beam picture. The phone has bluetooth. Help !
Answer by Marcel
G1 is not yet able to “beam” pictures and additional files, because it lacks bluetooth protocols…(for now only headsets can be connected to phone using bluetooth)
Bluetooth will be fixed in one of next updates….

I have T-mobile Sidekick 2008 and I’m getting kinda tired with it. I mean it’s a nice phone but I want to upgrade to a better phone and was considering getting a my touch 3g. I wanted the g1 but it’s so hideous and bulky and huge and they came out with the newer version on the g1 also known as the my touch 3g. So should I get the my touch 3g or stick with the sidekick?

it depends if like having a full qwerty keypad or a all touch screen device as you know the my touch has the android market place which allows you to download multiple games and apps for free and the my touch has applications particularly calculated for it one life sherpa which show every restaraunts, gas stations etc….utilizes the gps on your phone the coolest business about the phone is that if you ever get lost you can turn your phone on picture mode do a 360 turn in area you’re located and the phone will tell you you’re exact place and send you in the direction you wanna go utilizing google maps. for more information on phone and choices check out www.tmobile.com go to learning support and check out the forums.

They are both nice phone.
g1 has full keyboard. g2 has no, but with the touch pad enabled. so, I reckon it depends on your lifestyle, if you want to type always, you have to choose the g1, but the functions of the g1 are really less than the g2 especially some functions that you always needed, such as the app maket which you may maybe get the useful apps.
