What's the difference between an iPhone and an iPhone 3GS?

I was searching the web for an iPhone and saw both. The iPhone is only $ 99.99 and the iPhone 3GS is $ 199.99. The iPhone seems like a excellent deal but I just want to make sure. What does the iPhone 3GS have that the iPhone doesn’t have?

The iPhone is just an older virsion…But the iPhone 3GS comes packed with more things…such as apps && what not…

I know that the iphone is a phone and the touch is not, but are there any additional differences or is that it. Also does the iphone have free wifi or do you have to pay for it like a fixed cell phone?

An iphone can text, has a phone, and has bars, like a phone, but it also has wifi compatibilaty, like an i touch. An iphone costs 300 but 30 per month, while an itouch is a one time deal of 200-300 dolllrs

Not much, additional thatn the iPod touch does NOT make phone calls. The iPhone has a camera, and the iPod touch does not, but Apple may add that on in the future. The iPod touch also does not have a built-in mic.

That is basically the only difference between the two. The iPhone has a service plot like a fixed and the Ipod Touch does not. They both connect to wifi hotspot but the iPhone can also connect to the internet through a cell phone service.
