How strong is the Wi-Fi connectivity on the HTC Hero for Sprint?

I plan on getting the HTC Hero, but disabling the cellular data capabilities, so I need to know what everyone thinks of the Wi-Fi connectivity of the phone. (i.e. does it drop often, does it have weak signal,etc)

Not all video formats are supported with Sprint.

It depends on the format the video was uploaded in.
