HTC Touch HD will be available in Canada?

hi i was wondering if the htc touch HD will be available in canada i now its coming out in december but will be only the GSM version or theres a CDMA version too so delight let me now i really like the phone and the specs that comes with it ……………..

It doesn’t look excellent for us Canadians… I despise the crappy cell phone offering and monopoly that is imposed on us:
“No announcement on price or release date, but if you live in Canada, expect to be export this one unlocked unfortunately.”

…in any case of spectrum? I heard someone craced a gsm phone onto a cdma network. I NEED TO KNOW? (If not, I’ll just get the htc touch pro for VZDubb…lol)

If you had a couple degrees in things like electrical engineering, software engineering, and possibly physics, you could doubtless make an attachment (antenna, microchip to handle the information, etc) and some software for the device to make it compatible with Verizon’s CDMA network. Otherwise, you’re up a creek without a paddle. The phone is GSM based, and it doesn’t even work in the US, it’s not compatible with our networks. Get the Touch Pro.
