Total price for HTC Thunderbolt?

So I am plotting on getting the thunderbolt and I have a family plot. Since I’m upgrading my the phone with a 2-year contract will be $ 250. I heard I needed a data plot. I reckon I have one already because I go on the Internet on my LG Explorer. But how much is a data plot for the thunderbolt?

So how I will I have to pay in total?

the Explorer is NOT a smartphone, it is considered a feature phone thus does not come with a data plot

verizon data plans are usually about $ 30 a month on top of your voice and testing plans that go from $ 50ish to $ 80ish. You can also add a mobile hotspot or tethering data plot for another $ 30 which lets you connect a laptop of computer to the internet through your phone’s cellular tie.

If you had everything you plot could easily be $ 140 a month area.

With a contract? Without?

I have a friend that works at AT&T and he said it is going to be $ 350 up front but there is going to be a $ 100 Mail in rebate. This pricing is for the upgrading phone price or new contract. But it should run around $ 500-600 without contract.
