Should I sell my TV and buy a new one or just keep it?
Here’s my situation. I bought a 46″ Samsung LCD 1080p TV (model #LNT4661F) last March at Best Buy. When I went to buy it (i had my heart set on this model) all they had left was a show item. Now I wouldnt naturally buy the show model, but they knocked off the price of it a few hundred dollars I chose to anyhow.
Sparkle forwards about a year and some months later. My TV screen went out and stopped working. I could still hear the signal and what not, but the picture wasnt showing. I took it into a local tv repair shop to get flat and they said the circuit board went terrible. They replaced it and everything worked fine for a few days.
Three days later, the same conundrum happened. I have warranty for the repair work they did (30 days parts 60 days labor) so I didnt have to pay anything. When they first replaced it they had the part they needed in stock . This time they ordered it straight from the company. I got my tv back and its been going strong ever since.
Here’s my dilemma. Im worried that since they flat it once and it broke again, that this may happen again in the future, and I dont want to have to deal with it.
The question is, should I cut my losses and sell the TV ($ 850, i have buyers waiting), and just buy a new one that isnt a show model, or should I just keep it and hope nothing goes incorrect.
Like I said, its flat and working fine, but what if? What do y’all reckon?

The best thing for you now since you reckon it will happen again you might as well sell it and place that money towards a new TV. That’s the conundrum with export show model’s they arn’t suppose to be used for really watching TV most stores will replace there show models within the first year or so. So yes the best thought would be to see it and place the money towards a new TV (a Huge one at that)

I don’t reckon it’s just the show models I am beginning to reckon these Samsungs are junk.
Ours was an expensive 40″ Samsung, 2.5 being ancient, just broke and they estimated $ 400 to repair it (they also said it was the circuit board or something)
Of course we did not repair it and are export a new one (NOT another top of the line TV, it’s not worth it).
The repair guy told us the TV will break again, said these LCDs break a lot.
So I would sell it, you can get a new one for $ 850 or a small less now.

Ok, Kinda long tale
So it was just last month when I noticed that I could Upgrade My Contract and get another phone for Super Cheap….I found this one phone called the LG Expo and I really wanted it. Though, it had some kind of production issue and it wasn’t available on AT&T wireless.com. I considered Amazon.com but I was appalled at how people who upgraded they’re phones had to pay 150 more dollars than people wanting a new contract. After a fail attempt at trying to get the phone off of ebay I gave up and settled for the Samsung Mythic (which I’m starting not to like).
Less that two weeks after I get My mythic I notice that the Expo is back in stock on At&t and A week after that I see that it is going for just $ 50 for an Upgrade (and that highly pisses me off). I look to see how much it costs without a contract and I see that the Price is still a Whopping $ 450.
Why do phones cost so much without a contact? And what Can I do to get the Expo for $ 200 or less? I don’t reckon I’m going to make it 2 being with my current phone…

to get one for $ 200 or less, all i can say is E-BAY. and they most liable cost so much without a contract so they know they are getting the most money they can?(this question is a small out of my range!)
