Windows mobile 6 mods/games, list your top 5 /websites?

hi, just got a mint condition HTC xv6800 for Verizon (since i’m not switching networks just for an iphone). I am a new user of windows mobile 6 and do not know much about it.

delight list any of your favorite applications and mods as I want to make my new ppc more than just a chunky and cumbersome phone. Any WM6 tips are welcome as well.

Any help is appreciated and delight post the websites as well, so far all I’ve been able to find are very confusing ppc websites.

Also, just curious…was $ 230 a excellent price for a mint condition HTC xv6800 for verizon?
Is there perhaps a cydia-like freeware installer for windows mobile like there is on iphone?

I would say a $ 230 pocket pc would be a fantastic deal. I got a Asus a626 my pal for $ 180 and it is fantastic. (got it used) Well, this is a fantastic website for downloading games for pocket pc, Iphone, and palm.

A T-Mobile Shadow (a rebranded HTC Juno). The brown is a small hideous, but only a small. So far I’m honestly pleased with it. I miss having a touchscreen, but aside from the iPhone, none of the current phones with touchscreens interest me. As for the iPhone, I find for myself unwilling to switch to AT&T to get one, nor am I very impressed with how Apple is managing it. I’m not going to play the game of hacking and re-hacking my own property just to make it what it should have been from the start. And don’t tell me about the SDK.. I promise you won’t be pleased with the details when they’re out. Why else would 1.1.2 defeat the jailbreak?
At least Windows Mobile is only very superficially locked down, meant only to protect people who don’t know what they’re doing from installing malware. Remove that, and it’s wide open to 3rd party software and tinkering with settings and configuration files. Just a shame the UI and memory/process management stink.

after i find a game i want i dont know what to open it with or how to get it to my phone to play it??

Usually you can load it thru you PC or onto a memory card and play away.
The only difference is some files are formatted for loading thru the PC and some files can be loaded thru a memory card.
