HTC Evo vs Evo Shift Screen Brightness?

I was at the Sprint store and was looking at the Evo and the Evo Shift and it looked like the Evo Shift had a brighter screen, which would be a huge choice making business between the 2. Does it really have a brighter screen or were the settings just set differently? I don’t wanna make a terrible go here. Oh also does the Evo front facing camera work for yahoo messenger and additional messenger clients? That is another huge issue too. Thanks in advance.

The evo is a better phone. It is a stronger processor and larger screen.

HTC Evo Shift 4G has 3.6″ show which is excellent for watching videos and has 5MP camera with 720p record recording which is excellent for taking videos. But I would personally go to HTC EVO 4G which has 4.3″ show and 8MP camera which is excellent in viewing and recording videos.
