does it sound like it will be a good novel? should i continue it? ideas and corrections please. no hard criticism please.

You know that time in your life when you are extremely proud of yourself? The time when you feel nobody in the whole world can take that giant smile off of your face? When all eyes are on you? Well that was the time when everything changed for me, my life flashed before my eyes and everything went black.
Some swear I was dead by the time I hit the floor, others say I hurt my self purposely just to get attention. Truth is, I was at the National All Star Cheerleading Championships and my team was in the middle of our routine. We were doing so well, the best our squad has ever been. When we got towards the end of our routine one of my bases (the girl who lifts me up) quickly motioned to her arm and mouthed the word "ow" I wasn't sure how she hurt it, but I was extremely scared for the ending stunt. It was a stunt most other teams have never attempted because of its level of difficulty and safety scares. I knew one little problem couldn't effect the whole entire stunt that took 18 people to do. So we continued the routine. The time for the stunt came and everything was going great. I was at the top, smiling as much as I can, feeling so good inside and like everything in the world didn't exist except me on the top of that pyramid. Next thing I know I feel a hand slip beneath my sneaker, and I smash down to floor landing on top of my base. That's all I knew until I woke up a few hours after that.

The premise seems unoriginal so far, but the writing seems pretty realistic. Try working on expanding your vocabulary but keep writing!
