Iphone???!!?

I was considering to buy an Iphone for christmas and i was woundering. If I buy a Tmobile Iphone and place in my own sim card, do i need to pay some sort of monthly fee? Or i just pay for the phone and i place in the simcard and thats it?

The iPhone is not available from T-Mobile. Only with AT&T. And no, you cannot place a T-Mobile SIM card in the iPone ahd have it work. Again, only works with AT&T.

Yes, but only if you use ANYsim. BTW, it voids Apple’s warranty. They don’t care though. They’re not at&t.

The phone is available only through AT&T, unless you unlock it by Jailbreaking/Unlocking it. The only conundrum you will have right now is that you waited too long to get one. The new phones are now running on firmware 1.1.2 with Bootloader 4.06 which causes an issue with Unlocking the phone to additional carriers. There are alternative options available, but they cost money and are working, but public are still coming up for the software hack which we won’t see until after Apple releases the new 1.1.3 firmware they’re holding on to atm.

i wanna buy an iphone. i don’t have At&t and don’t plot on getting it. can i buy an iphone without getting a contract with at&t?

As has been said many times, no. iPhone 3G requires AT&T 2 year contract. Only work-around is an unlocked one which is about $ 690 to $ 790 USD.

well i phone is exclusive to the att network, so if you dont want to get att then you cant activate an iphone elsewhere. if you want the iphone without the phone just get an ipod touch, because all that is, is an iphone without the phone
