I reckon you don’t reasonably know what android is. Android is much like windows. It is simply an operating system that can be place on thousands of different devices. But, disparate windows every manufacture who builds a tablet changes android to accommodate their device.

With that said… android 2.2 is PHONE operating system. Google never meant for it to be smashed onto a tablet. Wait for like 2 months and you will get Honeycomb (android 3.0). This version of android is calculated particularly for tablets and will work ten times better.

The A8 in particular (the one you linked to) is a terrible device that is calculated as a cheap knockoff. DO NOT BUY IT!!! Trust me on this.

If you are looking for a budget tablet… the only one that I would recommend under 400 dollars is the Barnes and nobel Nook. It’s $ 250 and is a polished device. Anything else in that price range will be a waste of money.

Android 2.2 (Froyo) isn’t the most tablet optimized operating system. But who am I kidding, there is no tablet optimized operating system. Android Honeycomb isn’t far away but the only tablets that run it range from $ 600-1000. Some tablets run a excellent modified UI of Froyo. Namely the Notion Ink Adam with the Eden UI and the Dell Streak 7 with Stage UI. Persons are both fantastic tables and under $ 500.

What do you reckon? Answer below!

i’m thinking about buying one.
