Q&A: Is it possible to synchronize Outlook Calendar on 2 smartphones running Windows Mobile 6?

I am a newbie to PDAs and smartphones and have never used one before. I am now considering buy two smartphones that are running Windows Mobile 6 as the OS (T-Mobile Wing). I will be using one of the phones and my wife will be using the other. One application that both of us will be using on our phones will be Outlook Calendar to record our day to day appointments. We will like to synchronize our calendars on a regular basis so that when either of us plan common activities that will need to involve our entire family we can minimise the conflicts in our schedules. So my question is will it be possible for us to synchronize the Outlook Calendars on both our phones? If yes, do we just need to use the two phones directly to synchronize with each other, or do we need to involve the use of another computer (e.g. first synchronize one phone with a PC’s calendar, then repeat the same for the second phone, then sychronize the PC’s calendar with the two phones)? Thanks.

Im pretty sure you will need to use a pc. I am using WM6 and there is some issues when syncing 2 devices. sometimes get duplicated items on the pc and on the phones.

A lot of great info on the site below which I use a lot

Andre Hummel and friend preparing the Kombi for its final paint application. This VW Kombi was modified for the RAAF as a mobile control tower in the sixties. It sat in the AHSNT workshop yard for many years and was slowly rusting away due to broken windows and perished door seals allowing the rain in during the tropical wet season. In 2001 AHSNT member Lt Andre Hummel an Australian Army pilot asked if he could rebuild the vehicle for his own personal use. Having obtained permission Lt Hummel worked on the Kombi for the next eighteen months and completed the restoration by the end of 2002. Andre used the Kombi for his own personal use on the proviso that he would give the Society first option to purchase the vehicle if he had no longer use for it. In later years the Kombi was offered back to the Society at a fair price but the then committee declined the purchase. This vehicle is now used as a takeaway outlet in Byron Bay.

hey everyone, i was wondering if its possible to run a regular windows application like xfire on my HTC Touch phone..

I know xfire wont work on its own on windows mobile 6, but i was wondering if there is a way to emulate windows 2000 or something just so i could run xfire and use it?

Im not concerned about connection cause i know for sure it wont cost me (due to my data plan)

Thanks in advance!
