Where can I buy HTC phones without having to buy a "plan" from some carrier I don't want?

I am looking high and low for a place where I can just buy a new unlocked GSM phone. HTC tends to have the best Windows Mobile PDA phones out there, but the only place I can find to buy them is from a place that requires you to buy a plot. I’m pleased with T-mobiles service and prices (I get 3000 anytime minutes covering my state and the next states for $ 49 a month) and I have no intention of changing. But, T-mobiles PDA phones completely suck. They have the Wing which is slow and thick (like my MDA), the Shadow which is slow and stupid, and the Dash which is slow and runs a crippled version of Windows Mobile.

Anyway, that’s where I’m stuck!

They sell unlocked phones for everywhere. You will definately be paying the price from them since they are unlocked and no branded for a carrier.

Besides Ebay or craigslist, that is going to be your best bet

I am looking to get a new phone this summer, i am with sprint right now and i have been hearing a lot of new about there new 4g service and phone the HTC EVO coming this summer. I was wondering if anyone has any thought of the price of the EVO or just a educated guess would help. Thanks!

Well they havent set one but ATLEAST 300. i get that from basic facts there htc hd2 is 300 right now after a 2 year contract now we all know the evo will be better so maybe more $
