I have version 1.5 on my Behold 2, and when I tried to update to version 2.0 it said “No firmware folder exist”. I don’t know what to do please help me out here I really want to update my phone.

Root your phone then load a ROM. Check out www.androidforums.com for complete details, otherwise you’ll have to wait untill your carrier releases an official update.
Be warned Rooting your phone will void the warranty.

I’m very surprised to see that with power of Google’s Android, some hardware makers are charitable tough time to handset makers like Nokia, Blackberry and iPhone. Some Chinese-Tainwanese-Korean companies are now taunting at Nokia just because they got Android. This is the same business Microsoft did with PC so that PC makers just have to compete based on their hardware performance. Do you reckon the same business will happen to smartphone market?

Google is already much larger than Microsoft.
I judge there are also more Google Android phones in use now than iPhones, Blackberrys and Windows Phones combined. The iPhone app market is a terrible place. On Google Android’s market, most of the best apps are free, since Google doesn’t charge public for a developer’s license, and apple does.

I don’t reckon so. Microsoft’s success was largely due to compatibility issues. Back then, I had a Commodore 64. My dad had a Kaypro. My school had a TRS-80. My friend had an Apple ][. My additional friend had an Atari ST. There wasn't an Internet, so transferring data usually involved walking a 5.25" floppy disk from one computer to another. The conundrum was that each brand of computer formatted disks differently, so for instance, only a Commodore 64 may maybe read a disk that was formatted with a Commodore 64. Therefore, I had no way of getting a document to my friend with his Apple ][.
Then Microsoft came along. PC's were fantastic. Windows 3.1 was fantastic. Before Windows 3.1, even DOS was fantastic compared to competing operating systems of the day. Remember X-Tree Gold? There was nothing like that for Commodore or Apple ][. Suddenly, everybody was on the same business, and we may maybe all read each additional's disks. That was as much a part of Microsoft's success as anything else.
Now, with the Internet, we don't need standard operating systems. I can e-mail you a document from my Linux computer, and you can read it on Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, or most anything else.
Lastly, IMO, Android still has some transmittable up to do to meet the features of the iPhone. Android Market also only has a small fraction of the number of available apps as iPhone's App Store. Disparate iPhone's App Store, a large part of Android Market apps are malicious. The only business that Android has that I wish iPhones had was the talking navigator doodad.
I certainly hope that Android becomes the standard. I like the open source movement, and because Android is open source, there's lots of the makings for the liberty of the platform.
