I am a huge texter but I am deciding what phone I need for my upgrade. I reckon I should just get the Droid because it has a keyboard. I have used a virtual keyboard but idk if I’ll like it on the Incredible because I despised it on the Droid Eris. I’m kinda leaning towards the Droid but I wanna see some advantages the Incredible has.

I have the droid right now and i plot on getting the incredible on thursday but if i were you i would base it off what you like more. Any choice you make is a excellent one. If you like texting and want a keyboard i would suggest the droid because even without the snapdragon chip its quick and runs very excellent. The incredible though does have the sense ui which is cool but not as cool as a keyboarder for a texter. My recommendation is the droid.

I have the Droid currently an like it. I am but switching to the incredible because my wife wants my Droid. I got her the Eris and she likes the keyboard from her blackberry too much. She is also a texter. I am a touch screen junky and never use the keyboard. If you want the keyboard you wont be upset with your choice. The Droid is an incredible phone. My thought, once you get use to the touch screen you wont want the keyboard, but everyone is different. I have 3 friends that just got the Droid instead of coming up for the incredible because they want the keyboard. Whatever you choose you have to live with for a while, so take your time

Both are considered to be 2 out of the 3 (N1) best android devices available for consumers to buy today, so you can’t go incorrect with any. To address you’re concern about texting, you may want to look at the “Swype” application for android to help you in your choice. Swype may remove your need of a physical keyboard for texting. The Swype site has videos to show you how texting can be even nearer than using a physical keyboard. Granted Swype for android is in beta, but it should be unrestricted in the near future. I’ve pre-ordered the Incredible and can’t wait for 4/29!

HONEYCOMB may be Google’s signature tablet operating system, but its home screen user interface looks bland unless you work to improve it.
