Put it this way…

A dual core 2.6 ghz comp with 4 gig of ram can run a assload of games….

If you want to know if you can play a specific game at the store.. Most games have a requirements label on the back or bottom of them. If your computer has or exceeds the requirements then obviously you can play it.

if you want a list of games for a bad computer then email me at iamfat@hotmail.com

You have a good CPU and RAM, plenty of space but a terrible video card.
Look for games with basic requirements that don’t ask for a video card from ATI or NVidea.

As for movies, i use this site, free and most you can download, just variable quality. ch131.com

i have

-windows 7 64 bit
-intel i7
-g9800 2 gig video card
-1 terabite c;drive
-8 gigs ram
-5.1 realtek hd surround sound system
-24 inch widescreen monitor
-21 inch monitor (dual booting)

i can run any game ever on super high settings and you probably can too

Give your answer to this question below!

This is my laptop

Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
2GB RAM
Intel Core 2 Duo T5800 @ 2.00Ghz
32 bit operating system
DirectX 10
Runs Vista Home Premium SP2

I tried playing Knight of the Old Republic 2: Sith Lords but that crashed after the first movie. I was wondering (since KOTOR 2 doesn’t like Vista) if I could play other games with similar graphics.

For example could I play games like Crysis (lol, unlikely)

or games like the graphics of a PS2

or just PS1 graphics

If you could give me examples of games I could run too, that would be great.

well if you can tell us exactly what’s your laptop model it would be easier to answer your question.

Without knowing your graphics card, we can’t say, but I would guess that this might be a good list. Most of these are games I run on my PC:

Games that would run excellently:

Team Fortress 2
World of Warcraft
Eve Online
Counter-Strike: Source
Warcraft III
Trackmania United
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War
The Sims 3
Anything with about normal PS2 level graphics. Maybe slightly worse.
I’m talking kind of Timesplitters 2 quality.

Games that would run well:

Half-Life 2
Portal
Command and Conquer 3
Age of Empires 3
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 (On medium graphics/low graphics. Still looks good)
Possibly Left 4 Dead
Sins of a Solar Empire (might run badly, but should be ok on lowest setting)
Halo 2 (This one is a maybe – It might be that it runs fairly badly)
Games with Final Fantasy 10-esque graphics, perhaps.

Games that would run, but poorly:

Spore (Not tried at lowest settings, not sure it has one, but it’s a little juttery even on my PC. You might get away with not noticing the jutter, though)
Supreme Commander
Medievil 2: Total War
Bioshock (Perhaps)
Oblivion (maybe)

Games that wouldn’t run:

Crysis
Perhaps Fallout 3 (though it probably would, reaaaaally badly)

But if you have a crappy graphics card, which it sounds like you do, you’ll have to upgrade everything by one category.

What do you think? Answer below!
