Which Smartphone is better?

Hey guys,
like many public I’m thinking about buying a smartphone sometime soon. My needs for the smartphone are a excellent processor (not neceserilly dual-core) a excellent bright show, a solid feel and an Anroid OS. I will be using my smartphone mainly for surfing the web and using Apps.

I have narrowed down my search to the later phones:

HTC Incredible S (first choice so far)
+excellent screen size, Solid feel in the hand, HTC sense UI, nice effect of the touchsensative buttons when you turn the phone to horizontal mode… (and everything else you would come to expect from the latest smartphones
-I don’t really see the need for the high price due to its not yet updated version of Android (2.3) yet, battery life a bit small

Samsung galaxy I9000 S (second choice so far)

+ Super AMOLED screen is pretty incredible, really excellent price for such a high-end phone, fantastic speed (after tuning it abit)… (and everything else you would come to expect from the latest smartphones)

- Cheap plasticy feel to it, TouchWiz no way near as attractive as HTC Sense, tries too hard to copy the looks of an iPhone

HTC Desire HD

+Basically all the Pro’s of the Incredible S

-Screen a tad too large for my likings

Excellent choices but for me right now the Samsung Galaxy SII is the best due to the facts that it’s as powerful as most laptops, it’s got a brilliant camera, got a fantastic OS and is light. The only con is it’s price. It beats the iphone in looks. TouchWiz is still excellent but you haven’t felt that phone – no way does it feel cheap

I personally would choose the HTC Desire HD. HTC sense is a very nice Interface and HTC is normally very reliable and has small to no crashes in my experience. Also, the screen is rather large but it is very nice for videos and pictures and such. Lastly, the screen as incredible quality. The HTC Incredible is a very close second, and I would recommend to not even consider the Samsung Galaxy S.

Ok so I have a HTC Thunderbolt and I’m a bit dissapointed with android. So obviously the iPhone 5 is comming out.
~Heres the question… If I buy a Verizon iPhone 5 (prob $ 200) can I some how exchange it or SWAP it with my Thunderbolt ($ 250) using the same contract (family). Is that possible to exchange and only pay fees but NOT pay $ 200?? ~Or do I have to my sell the Thunderbolt somewhere else (for example ebay) then buy the iPhone. If so do I get the iPhone at $ 200 or do I have to pay full retail price…($ 500 approx)

If these options don’t work or are not the best possible way please tell me the best way to do so and they are BOTH verizon phones

**Summary – Can I swap my verizon thunderbolt for a verizon iphone 5 comming out soon using SAME contract (family) without paying too much? And what is the best possible way.

ull have to seel ur thunderbolt b/c u signed a contract (im a possible buyer)
butdont do anything ull regret i seen the plans for the new iphone 5 and well…wait untill u see it for ur self u might not like it

You used your upgrade. Unless someone else on the plot is going to be eligible for an upgrade and willing to let you use it, the iPhone will be full retail – probably around $ 700+. With an upgrade, the phone will probably be $ 200-$ 300. It will never be less.

The only way you can sell your Thunderbolt so it can be used with Verizon is to replace it on your line with another phone and then sell it. That’s the only way the ESN will be clean.

Verizon does not take back used phones.
