ok wait til december. the HTC HERO is coming to verizon, and the motorola sholes! these are both android phones. the storm 2 is coming out the 21st but storms suck. and iphones are toys, no offense but they shouldnt be smart phones. the omnia 2 came out and its pretty kick butt.

There was a talk about Steven Jobs bringing iphones to Verizon but I don’t know what happen to that. It is unfortunate verizon is not using a sim card on their phones so you cannot use iphone on them. I would stop at several verizon branches if you live in one of the major cities and chat with a rep. But as far as I know verizon has carries smartphones too such as the touchpro for $ 99.00 phone only. If you can I would switch to Tmobile and hold an unlocked iphone at iphone store online or ebay.

Then switch your tmobile simcard to your iphone and you have a working iphone on your palm.
I hope this helps and not confuse you.

Um basically your only choice is HTC Hero
It’s a fantastic alternative to the iPhone
It uses the T-Mobile G1 and myTouch OS which is Android and with a more polished interface
The additional alternative requires hacking and may not be possible yet
The Palm Pre is the only best alternative that gives an iPhone experience and some exclusives like multi-tasking
Someone showcased it working on the Verizon network but it won’t be officially available with Verizon because of contract issues just like the iPhone

ok, I have the Iphone and I work for verizon, (I’m really at work now…lol) I would say wait until any mid november for the Blackberry Storm 2, or the much better option which is coming to Verizon in the beginning of January…The Palm Pre will officially be sold in Verizon Supplies in January…don’t judge me, go to this website…http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2009/10/17/verizon-confirms-palm-pre-striking-huge-red-early-next-year/

BlackBerry Storm2
or any of the Android phones that are coming out.
Don’t let anyone trick you into buying a Windows Phone. They suck… a lot.

Size comparison.
The width is much less and even the height is slightly shorter than an iPhone.
It’s a VERY pocketable camera.
Sorry for the crummy photos. Took these rather hastily.

The 3G is nearer, cheaper, and i reckon thinner. I’m not too sure about life able to unlock it, but it’s beyond doubt gonna be an upgrade from the 2.5
I’m thinking of getting it, for myself.

The new iPhone 3G will be nearer in the internet, will have less problems, will have GPS, will have more battery charge time, will be more slim. and it will cost alot less!

I’m not going to repeat what everyone else already said I’m just going to add that it will be exceptionally hard to unlock becuase you MUST activate it when you buy it, which earnings puttin your John Hancock on a piece of paper that says pay 70 or more a month for two years.

iPhone, therefore I am: are gadgets stealing our humanity?
Smartphones and additional gadgets have literally become extensions of our minds and hold out the tantalising promise of never life bored again, but are we sacrificing too much in the process?
