Out of memory HTC Hero, how do I get apps on my SD w/o hacking it?

Only had this phone a few days, and they advertised as an app machine, here I am now, only dl’d 25 apps and only have 2 megs left on my phone 6 gigs free on my SD. I searched around on the net and all I could find is some root hack that voids my warranty. Is there a way to get them onto my SD and bed in them on demand if I need? or did I just get an epic fail deal, produce this is lame, I have apps paid for I cant even place on my phone now :(

I have a touch pro 2, so it is a diff in commission sys than android, but I don’t see why they wouldn’t include a file explorer in there, that you could copy and paste apps to your sd card or even give you the option to bed in to sd card which is what happens when you bed in a .cab file.

Day 51 – 23rd March

This photo in theory should really be a star trail….I will clarify.

For myself and my housemates got invited to a friends BBQ, after numerous bottle of Bulmers and much undercooked meat later it was 11pm and looking up at the clear sky we chose it would be a excellent thought to go to Beacon Hill (a hill about 5 miles out of Loughborough) and take some star trails.
We got home and packed for our trip:
- Camera, tripod and remote shutter release
- Cheese, pringles and a pen knife
- Fire staff, parrafin and fire tin
- Numerous torchs and some glow poi

We were ready so we set off on our bikes. Firstly going the incorrect way we managed to do a 1 mile loop and end up exactly back everywhere we had been 30mins ago.
Upon checking on google maps and re-orientating ourselves we set off again.
We were about 3/4 of the way there, and I suddenly had a thought….my memory card was still in my laptop!

We stopped in Jubilee Wood which were just passing, span some fire, drank a small more, listened to some music and then at about 2.30am chose it was time to cycle home.

Not your standard Wednesday night but a excellent one, nerveless.

i just traded my blackberry for a hero, and i reckon i made a mistake. i cant hear the text message tone and want to change it but cant figure out how. i have looked online at the manuel but it was no help. anyone have any thoughts? i want to use a ring tone on my memory card like i have for contacts but i don’t see the option.

ventones.com the best site, google it.
100% FREE

1) upload an mp3 file or an image file
2) crop it online with their free step by step page
3) send it to your phone or download the free ringtone file
